For Donald McCombs, a home has never been just a house. It’s where life happens and memories are made.
Donald was born and raised on his family’s farm in Edmonson County, with his grandparents living just across the street. Growing up surrounded by family and a close-knit community gave him an appreciation for home that goes far beyond four walls—and instilled the work ethic and values that still guide him today.
After attending Western Kentucky University, Donald spent much of his professional career working in Warren County, building relationships and becoming deeply connected to the community. In 2000, he served as President of Leadership Bowling Green, an experience that strengthened an already meaningful connection to the area and the people who call it home.
With a professional background in construction and sales, Donald had always been drawn to homes and real estate. Eleven years ago, he finally decided it was time to pursue a dream he’d carried with him for years and earned his real estate license. He later added his Principal Auctioneer’s license, giving his clients another layer of knowledge and experience when navigating property and real estate.
But ask Donald what matters most, and chances are it won’t be the licenses, titles or transactions.
It will be the people.
“Making Memories” has long been a motto among Donald’s family and friends, and it has naturally become part of the way he approaches real estate. He knows the property someone buys today may become the kitchen where birthdays are celebrated, the backyard where children grow up, the porch where family gathers, or simply the place someone finally gets to call their own.
Helping people find that place is what makes the work meaningful to him.
